Optimisation of the pump and output parameters of an electron-beam-controlled CO2 laser by lowering the active-mixture pressure

Abstract: An experimental study established the feasibility of improving the spatial and energy parameters of the radiation from an electron-beam-controlled CO2 laser, emitting pulses several tens of microseconds long, by lowering the active-mixture pressure from 1 to 0.5 bar.
