Abstract: A study was made of the kinetics of changes in the emission frequency of a TEA CO2 laser when an external signal was injected in a ring or a linear resonator. The optimal composition of the active mixture and the optimal detuning of the injected radiation frequency from the emission frequency minimized the width of the emission spectrum (~0.5 MHz) when the output energy was ~0.5 J.
