Applications of lasers and other topics in quantum electronics

Active optical system with a large diameter of the field of view

A. M. Bakiev, S. Kh. Valiev, N. V. Kryazhev
Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of active optical systems with a copper-vapor brightness amplifier characterized by a large field of view. The diameter of the field of vision for these systems was up to 1 cm in the case of single-pass image brightness amplification, whereas for double-pass amplification in the active element it was 35 mm. An investigation was made of the time characteristics of imaging beams.
