Output spectral characteristics of a pulsed HF chemical laser using an SF6–HI–H2 mixture and electron-beam pumping

A. V. Gal', V. D. Rusanov, V. L. Shiryaevskiĭ, G. V. Sholin
Abstract: We investigated the spectral characteristics of an SF6–HI–H2 laser pumped by an electron beam. The time-integrated output spectrum was studied as a function of the composition of the hydrogen-containing component of the working mixture. Lasing takes place under conditions far from rotational equilibrium.
