Amplitude-frequency characteristics and parametric suppression of noise in a ring chip laser

Abstract: We investigate the resonant response of the active element of a monolithic ring chip laser to a periodic external signal. There is the possibility of a parametric suppression of low-frequency noise in such lasers. We also give a qualitative description of the experimental results.
