Homogeneous refracting lenses in anisotropic waveguides

A. L. Belostotskiĭ, A. S. Leonov, D. V. Petrov
Abstract: Methods for calculations of the contours of homogeneous refracting waveguide lenses, free of the lowest-order aberrations within a given angle in the field of view, are proposed. Descriptions are given of ray-tracing and combined methods for monitoring the operation of lenses. In the calculation of the shapes of the contours and numerical testing of lenses a full allowance is made for the anisotropy of the optical properties of waveguides made of lithium niobate.
