Optical logic elements based on three mutually coupled nonlinear optical waveguides

Abstract:
An analysis is made of all-optical waveguide elements based on a distributed interaction between light pulses in nonlinear coupled waveguides. It is shown that such elements are functionally complete and do not contain any waveguide junctions.
