Influence of resonant radiation trapping on the wave interaction coefficients in a two-mode ring gas laser subjected to an arbitrary magnetic field

B. A. Bachurin
Abstract: Components of the coefficients describing the interaction of arbitrarily polarized waves due to resonant radiation trapping are derived for the case when an arbitrary magnetic field acts on the active medium of a two-mode (four-mode) ring gas laser. The longitudinal component of the external magnetic field vector makes the main contribution to wave cross saturation effects due to resonant radiation trapping.
