Nonlinear optics

Incoherent double phase-conjugating Bi12TiO20 mirror

M. P. Petrov, H. J. Caulfield, E. V. Mokrushina
Abstract: A photorefractive crystal with the sillenite crystal structure was used for the first time in a double phase-conjugating mirror. It was applied to a wave scattered by a real object. Changes in the intensity of the phase-conjugated wave were investigated under different observation conditions. An analysis was made of the possible use of such a system in interferometry.
