Control of the divergence of radiation from an XeCl laser amplifier

Abstract: The results are presented of experimental studies of the divergence of narrow-band radiation from an electric-discharge XeCl laser operating in an injection-locked regime and as a single-pass amplifier. It is shown that the radiation brightness under injection-locking conditions is twice that after single-pass amplification.
