Generation properties of a long, single-pass diffusion CO2 laser amplifier

Abstract:
The energy characteristics of the generation of a single-pass waveguide CO2 amplifier 8 m long have been studied experimentally. The maximum efficiency achieved was ~11.4% at a gain of 18. The divergence of the amplified radiation was studied.
