Abstract: An investigation was made of the generation of the second, third, and fourth optical harmonics of the radiation emitted by a laser in which the active medium was neodymiumdoped yttrium aluminum garnet. The laser was operated under Q-switching fast-repetition pulse conditions. It was observed that the intensity of the fourth (ultraviolet) harmonic of λ = 266 nm was highly stable.
