Abstract: The application of laser light to materials in a heated state stimulates oxidation-reduction reactions in them. The illumination of titanium films by a beam of photons with =1.96 eV during annealing in vacuum stimulates photochemical processes of a nonthermal nature in addition to recrystallization.
