Abstract: Total locking of two optically coupled and periodically pumped lasers (each operating chaotically) is demonstrated theoretically. It is shown that such locked lasing is described by an equation for one equivalent laser. The constant difference between the field phases is found explicitly. The detuning range in which locked lasing can be retained is also determined.
