Simulation and optimisation of the optically pumped HCl laser

Abstract:
A mathematical model of an HCl gas laser optically pumped into the third vibrational overtone is developed. The results of numerical calculations are in good agreement with experimental data. The characteristics of the laser are studied and its parameters are optimised using numerical simulations.
