Generation regimes in a laser with annular aperture

Abstract:
The basic properties of fields emitted by a laser with an annular aperture and a plane–parallel and stable resonator configuration are studied theoretically. It is shown that multipass modes also emerge in a system with a stable resonator, which leads to the formation of combined light beams with a helical wavefront and an autowave profile.
