Spectral characteristics of a Raman laser with intracavity frequency conversion

Abstract: The spectral characteristics of the radiation emitted by a Raman laser with intracavity frequency conversion were investigated. This laser was found to suffer from frequency chirp both of the pump radiation and of the Raman frequencies. The integral width of the spectrum at the pump and Raman frequencies could exceed 1 cm-1.
