The first observation of SRS in a trigonal LiCaAlF6 crystal

Abstract:
The Raman parametric generation is excited for the first time in a trigonal LiCaAlF6 fluoride crystal pumped by picosecond pulses. The energy of the χ(3)-active vibrational mode is determined and all Stokes and anti-Stokes components of SRS are detected for this crystal in the visible region.
