Mechanism of formation of doubly charged ions upon nonlinear ionisation of Ba atoms in the frequency range from 9390 to 9470 cm-1

Abstract:
A mechanism of Ba2+ ion formation upon nonlinear ionisation of Ba atoms in the frequency range between 9390 and 9470 cm-1 is studied. The ions are shown to be produced by the two-electron mechanism.
