Scheme of signal processing in a receiver of multimode communication lines based on convolutional neural networks

Abstract:
A scheme is proposed for processing optical signals in a receiver of a multimode communication line based on deep convolutional neural networks and simulating the signal backpropagation method. For the scheme in question, the efficiency of compensation for nonlinear intramode and intermode distortions is evaluated.
