Abstract: A quantum cascade laser (QCL) is studied and the results of registration of the radiation pattern in the far zone are presented. An optical system based on a single-lens objective is calculated, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of collimation of radiation from the QCL under study. The QCL radiation formation by the proposed lens is simulated.
Keywords: quantum-cascade laser, radiation pattern.
