Abstract:
Sawtooth two-layer microstructures with internal and external, as well as with two internal reliefs, composed of technological and commercially available optical plastics or an optical plastic and nanocomposite material are investigated. By using the corresponding model microstructures in the frameworks of the rigorous diffraction theory, the limiting spectral and angular characteristics are estimated for sawtooth two-layer dual-relief diffraction microstructures of both types.
Keywords:
diffractive optical element, two-layer dual-relief diffraction microstructure, diffraction efficiency, scalar and rigorous diffraction theories.
