Phase locking of a diode bar using a phase diffraction mirror

Abstract:
A method for synchronising the emission of a laser diode bar using a phase diffraction mirror is proposed. It is confirmed experimentally that this method makes it possible to phase the bar emission, but its selective properties are insufficient to ensure stable single-mode lasing.
