Abstract:
A method for increasing the mode instability threshold in fibre lasers is proposed. It is used to develop a high-power narrowband (with a linewidth of ~0.1 nm) Yb-doped all-fibre laser with linearly polarised radiation and mode instability threshold exceeding 100 W.
Keywords:
fibre laser, mode instability, linearly polarised laser radiation, cw laser.
