Measurement of spatio-temporal field distribution of THz pulses in electro-optic crystal by interferometry method

Abstract:
We propose a scheme for measuring the spatial distribution of the THz pulse electric field strength in an electro-optic crystal using optical interferometry. The resulting images of the field distribution from a test source with a spherical wave front are presented.
