Abstract:
Repetitively pulsed operation of a diode laser with delayed feedback has been studied theoretically at varying feedback parameters and pump power levels. A new approach has been proposed that allows one to reduce the system of Lang—Kobayashi equations for a steady-state repetitively pulsed operation mode to a first-order nonlinear differential equation. We present partial solutions that allow the pulse shape to be predicted.
