Full-text PDF (589 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A theory is developed of a multimode-pumped optical parametric oscillator emitting a narrow line. It is shown that the efficiency of conversion to parametric frequencies may be close to the efficiency under single-mode pumping conditions. Saturation effects and the shape of the pump pulses are allowed for in the theoretical analysis.
