Abstract:
The fluctuations and dynamic characteristics of an Nd:YAG monolithic ring laser with a nonplanar configuration of the cavity placed in a magnetic field were investigated experimentally and theoretically. A vector model of a solid-state ring laser was developed. It takes into account the characteristic features of the interaction of elliptically polarised counterpropagating waves in an anisotropic cavity and is consistent with experimental results.
