Abstract: A high-resolution investigation was made of the IR spectrum of the fundamental ν6 band of the HCOOD molecule. Five lines of submillimetre stimulated emission by this molecule were identified for the first time. The rotational and centrifugal distortion parameters of the ν6 and 2ν9 vibrational states were determined. The positions of the centres of the ν6 and 2ν9 bands were found to be 972.85063(10) and 1011.67669(14) cm-1 , respectively.
