Efficient chemical oxygen–iodine laser with longitudinal flow of the active medium

Abstract:
A chemical oxygen–iodine laser with fast flow of the active medium along the optic axis was constructed. Lasing with an output power of 186 W and a chemical efficiency in excess of 20% were achieved.
