Abstract:
A method for the measurement of a homogeneous static electric field in an isotropic homogeneous plasma by the coherent four-wave mixing (FWM) techniques is proposed and theoretically substantiated. The influence of plasma microfields on the intensity and polarisation of the FWM signal is investigated.
