Abstract:
The output energy and emission spectrum of a solid-state dye laser using Oxazine 1 in polyurethane as the gain medium have been measured. Under microsecond pumping, efficient lasing has been obtained in the range 700 — 745 nm. The highest conversion efficiency and output energy achieved are 23% and 127 mJ, respectively.
