Voronezh State Technical University
Abstract: A description is given of the operating principle, design, and parameters of a wavelength-tunable slab CO2 laser with rf excitation of the active medium. Nonmechanical intracavity tuning of this laser is performed by superposition of an electrostatic field on the rf pump field. Investigations are reported of single-wave and simultaneous multiwave (group) generation of radiation.
