Abstract: Based on analysis of two-dimensional numerical calculations and experiments performed on the PALS setup, the similarity relations are obtained for determining pressure in a condensed matter irradiated by a short laser pulse of intensity 5 × 1013 — 5 × 1014 W cm-2.
