Experimental acquisition of long-range portraits of objects and their recognition

Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of recognition of the perspectives of model objects on the basis of the shape of the envelope of a scattered laser pulse. Stable recognition of various perspectives of an object was found to be possible even for high ratios of the probe pulse duration to the time of its propagation along the object surface.
