Abstract:
A theoretical investigation is reported of the possibility of the manifestation of the tertiary pyroelectric effect as a result of inhomogeneous heating of cubic crystals belonging to the class $\bar43m$.
Detection of this pyroelectric effect is reported. The effect was used to construct transmission-type power sensors made of ZnSe crystals, which also functioned as exit windows in pulsed CO and СО$_2$ lasers.
