Abstract:
A remote Doppler velocimeter with extensive functional capabilities was constructed on the basis of a monolithic single-frequency ring Nd3+ : YAG laser pumped by a laser diode. This velocimeter was used to investigate laser-induced hydrodynamic flows in condensed media.
