Abstract: The spectra of the two-photon-excited luminescence were determined and measurements were made of the two-photon absorption cross section of deoxyribonucleotides (5'dAMP, 5'dGMP, 5'dTMP, 5'dCMP) and of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) at the wavelength of the second harmonic of an Nd3+ : YAG laser (λ = 532 nm).
