Control of laser radiation parameter

Stability of single-mode lasing in a plane–plane resonator with an active medium

Abstract: A numerical diffraction model is used in a study of the stability of single-mode lasing in a laser with a plane–plane Fabry–Perot resonator. The ranges of the parameters in which stable operation is possible are found for a laser with a locally saturable medium and for a continuous-flow CO2 laser.
