Influence of induced reduction in the relaxation time of an absorber on the dynamics of formation of ultrashort light pulses

Abstract: A very simple model based on rate equations is used to analyze theoretically the process of formation of ultrashort light pulses in the case of induced reduction in the relaxation time of a saturable absorber because of excitation of stimulated emission from this absorber.
