Abstract: A study was made of the possibility of frequency tuning of CdSe parametric devices in a wide range of infrared wavelengths by a uniaxial external pressure. The tuning curves were calculated for a CdSe parametric oscillator and a down-converter operating in the 90° phase matching at pressures up to ~2500 kg/cm2.
