Phase transitions in three-dimensional two-level systems

Abstract: A quasiclassical approximation is used to find the steady-state density of spatial fluctuations of a radiation field in a homogeneous three-dimensional active medium. The correlation function of the field is determined above and below the laser threshold. The spatial coherence of the radiation emitted from feedback lasers is calculated.
