Influence of atmospheric turbulence on the scattering of waves by a surface
M. L. Belov, V. M. Orlov
Abstract:
A theoretical analysis is made of the scattering of partly coherent radiation by a surface with a random distribution of the reflection coefficient located in a turbulent atmosphere. The Huygens–Kirchhoff principle is used to obtain expressions for the power recorded by a receiver with an arbitrary angular characteristic. The results are given of a calculation of reflection from a Lambert surface.
