Experimental investigation of nonlinear polarization interaction of opposite waves in a ring laser

Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of the influence of the polarization states of opposite waves on the difference frequency of a He–Ne ring laser considered as a function of the excess of the gain of the losses and of the detuning of the emission frequency relative to the center of the gain profile. A comparison was made with the results of theoretical investigations.
