Adaptive deformable mirror with piezoelectric ceramic actuators

Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of the formation of the relief of a reflecting surface by an adaptive deformable mirror. The additivity of the effect of a system of discrete actuators on the reflecting surface of the adaptive mirror was confirmed. The amplitude- and phase-frequency characteristics of the adaptive mirror were determined and an investigation was made of its hysteresis and resonance properties.
