Full-text PDF (478 kB) Citations (5)
Abstract: A study was made of the cascade stimulated Raman scattering spectra in a capillary fiber waveguide filled with a liquid. The band asymmetry in the Raman spectrum was attributed to the scattering by composite vibrations. The results indicated that stimulated Raman scattering in a quartz capillary containing benzene or a mixture of benzene with other aromatic compounds could be used to generate strong radiation and various wavelengths in the optical range.
