Transmission of microwave-modulated radiation along fiber optical waveguides

Abstract:
An investigation was made of the frequency characteristics of fiber waveguides by a method in which the modulation frequency of light transmitted by a waveguide was converted in a photodetector. The light was modulated by a continuous signal of at least 800 MHz frequency.
