Use of optical pumping in stimulated Raman scattering in CO2 for construction of tunable high-pressure lasers emitting at 14 and 16 μ
Yu. B. Konev, N. I. Lipatov
Abstract:
It is shown theoretically that stimulated emission and amplification is possible at wavelengths of 14 and 16 μ as a result of stimulated Raman scattering in high-pressure carbon dioxide gas. The conditions necessary for stimulated emission and amplification are determined.
