A. A. Vasil'ev, P. V. Vashurin, I. N. Kompanets
Abstract:
The results are given of investigations of electrooptic characteristics of controlled transparencies made of nematic liquid crystals, which can be used as tunable (dynamic) filters in image converter systems. Tunable spatial filters, controlled by electrical and optical signals, make it possible to alter expeditiously the spatial-frequency characteristics of optical data processing systems, extending greatly the functional capabilities of such systems,
