Reflection of radiation from a moving polarization region in resonant Bragg structures

V. V. Likhanskii, A. G. Sukharev
Abstract: An investigation is made of the control of the reflection of a signal from a moving induced polarization region in resonant Bragg structures. Expressions are obtained for the reflection coefficients as a function of the difference between the frequency of a signal and that of a resonant transition, and of the difference between the wave vectors of the radiation and of the periodic Bragg structure. The conditions under which the reflection coefficients are high are determined.
